TurboTerra™ records 2.6× standard-bit life at Bengalla
A production-trial result at Bengalla: bits fitted with the TurboTerra sub reached 2.6× standard-bit life - and re-drew the change-out schedule.

In a production trial at Bengalla, bits fitted with the TurboTerra sub reached 2.6× the life of the standard reference bit - a life multiple measured across full-pattern drilling, not a single hole.
The sub sits between the bit and the drill string and reworks how bailing air reaches the face. Better face evacuation means teeth spend more time cutting fresh rock and less time regrinding cuttings - the same principle that drives the RipTerra bit, applied as a component every operator can add to their existing bit stock.
What a 2.6× life multiple means at the deck
Bit change-outs are the single biggest source of live work at the deck. Every change-out is a hoisted string, a torqued connection, a crew member with hands near a hole. Multiplying bit life by 2.6× removes a corresponding share of those events across a rig-year - a productivity gain and a safety gain from the same design decision.
The TurboTerra sub is part of the RipTerra platform and ships in every DrillTerra system.
